xtrabullets, when you check online for your application status, does the screen actually say "Application Complete. License Active or Issued"?

If you are using what someone told you over the phone to update your signature line, IMO you're jumping the gun a little, as because it's gone to the printers means the application isn't complete. Some of us have experienced quite a delay after we were told it's at the printers.....up to a month to 6 weeks.....albeit that was back in August of last year.

I'm certainly not saying it's going to be that much longer for you to be sure! DPS process in batches, and it takes some time to run the batch, send it back to the processors for final approval before they update the status screen.

All in all, amazingly short processing time. Congratulations! :tiphat:

i thought it was a little bit 10-15 days to fast too!

the website changed to "Processing Application" from "Packet sent to applicant". I assume that this is accurate? Does anyone else know what the exact timeline/process is?

All im saying is my application was approved which is a big relief on my part cause I know everything went through smooth. Especially hearing how finicky they can be with finger prints etc. I understand that it can take a bit for them to print and send it out,but the general timeline around the forums as of now is about a month. From what I understand last year it was a bit longer, but I would be suprised if I didnt have it by the end of the next week, and if I dont thats fine. At least I know it was approved and will get here eventually :coolgleamA: As far as calling goes, Im sure I moved along the process by at least a little bit as I didnt haft to wait for the letter to see what was wrong and just sent it right out ;). Whether you guys call or not is up to you but being that I had something missing and im still matching and beating most timelines means that I did something right! :thumbs2:

I called today and they a still working on my background check. Hopefully my Class C "failure to appear" arrest doesn't hold this up to much. I got a disposition from the courts and I wasn't charged with anything. Any one know how long BG checks usually take?

That's one of the great mysteries of the universe .

Nobody knows for sure , but the BG check is usually the longest part of the whole process .
As long as you sent in your disposition of the arrest , it should not add to your overall wait time.
