Welcome to the forum Chris and thanks for the compliment.

Calling the FBI will do no good. I would contact your State Representatives and see if their office can inquire what the delay is. Many times that gets the application moving.

Thanks for the quick reply, I've emailed them and asked for the exact date they sent my info to the FBI to do the background check. Once I get that date I'll email my State Rep. I've already found her info and have an email ready to go.

I'm ready to do my Wally Walk.

Congrats. I think whoever is processing the September applications must take lots of smoke breaks and a long lunch everyday. Whoever processed the October apps needs a raise because they seem to be much quicker.

Woo Hoo. I just logged in and I now show as "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active." I emailed my rep earlier this week. I don't know if she helped or if they finally just got around to approving mine.

I am still waiting.....all alone??
I called DPS earlier in the week and the woman I spoke with said they were having problems with my background check? I have lived in the same county for over 25 years, have my background thoroughly vetted by the FBI for my job, etc. They are having PROBLEMS with my background check?

Will make the call on Monday to my State Rep's office.....whose local right hand person I went to HS with and have known forever.
