Plastic came today, 124 days door to door with a re-do of fingerprints. Had a sudden urge to shop at Wal-Mart. Went with my wife, bought some tie-downs for the truck among other things. Didn't need ammo but they didn't have any of my calibers any way. Stopped by OfficeMax for some office supplies and a quick stop at The UPS Store. Finished the trip by stopping at the bank to conduct some business. When we got home, my wife said "You had it with you!" That's good since she is very good at noticing when my appearance isn't just right. All in all, a good trip! So long, Waiting Room! Here's wishing the rest of you waiting short waiting times...and the pace at DPS surely seems to be picking up!

I was unable to go home yesterday to check the mail to see if my license had arrived, so I hurried home this morning and went straight to the mailbox. As I opened the mailbox with great anticipation, I reached in and grabbed everything and started flipping through all the mail. Bill, bill, ads, bill, bill, bill, and then........nothing.
