Re: April 2009 Applications
The sign does not have to be on the door. It just has to be posted (the 51% sign) Our CHL instructor warned us that it could be anywhere even behind the bar.rstrainii wrote: I have a question and cannot find a straight answer. Outside Coyote Ugly there is a sign that does not allow any weapons LIC or UNLIC. It has the Bureau of Alcohol stamp on it, no 51% sign anywhere that I could see from the door or in entry area. My question is if it has the official seal on it is it a legal sign?
Thanks,
Just remember that there are two different signs the 51% and the Legal 1" letter blah.blah.blah. You know the one.

95 days, and never even been to Harris County. If it's true that Harris takes longer... you Harris guys are in for an epic WAIT!

Re: April 2009 Applications
Hello All, I have been lurking for awhile now, wanted to say hello to all. It sure has made the wait a little easier. A little background on me: I have been around long guns and pistols for many years. My first was a Topper Jr 410 for rabbit hunting when I was 6 (45 years ago), I will never forget that Christmas. It is a much different world now. I hate that I feel the need to carry for protection of myself and family. If more people where exposed the proper use of firearms at a young age we would not be in this position today.
I am glad I found this board, and look forward getting to know some of you great folks.
