the state hit a homerun with me today...cleared the left field wall and into the cheap-seats....

application approved...and now for the federal branch to do THEIR part and deliver it.....

application mailed 08 DEC 08...one hiccup along the way (forogt a copy of military ID, did send the commander's letter)

it was almost with morbid curiosity to wait and see how long the state might take sans legislative assistance..
wasn't TOO bad in retrospect...though i had a license and let it expire back in 05, i figured after such a detailed background check back then, it would only be (in theory) a check between now and the first issue.....in theory LOL

guess i can knock the dust off some of my more stealthy toys now

how long between approved and in hand? stuff gets from austin to pasa-deer park in 2 days via snail mail...but my mailbox didn't have any goodies in it today
