Before mailing my app, I had to wait for my CHL instructor to call to give me a certificate number. Did anyone else have to do this?

Took the class in Hunt County, but I live in Dallas County.

Called again today to DPS> Waiting on my fingerprint report to get back. Too funny. Other than the Air Force and CHL, I have never been fingerprinted. Couldn't be that hard...

She did say that it should "be soon"...

Yea, my service and clearence apparently got me nothing in the process ;-) . The worst part of this wait is the wonder of what they 'might' find that you never actually had the pleasure of doing.

A week ago I reached in my glovebox and found a "US Government Property" ballpoint... The powers that be are bound to find my horrific display of "Fraud, Waste, and Abuse".

Now that more of us are passing the 60 day mark, hopefully we will start getting some actual action.

the Office Budget Management (OBM) and a congressional oversight commitee called, they want their pen back ! :smilelol5:

they said to nip things in the bud, catch the ones who jack office supplies before they become tax dodgers and expect high level cabinet positions

Have you ever carried on the ankle before? It can be limiting depending on what type of shoe / pant you are wearing. I have had better success (at least around the house) with something ITWB, especially if you are planning on carrying a smaller gun.
