Reapply = New Apply

Hello all. First post. Had a CHL that expired and I let it go more than 12 months without renewing it because I wasn't in Texas, so now I am waiting. Called Austin and they said a reapply is treated like a new application, and they are running 100-120 days behind. I won't let it expire again, that's for sure. So I am waiting (sent application in in August). Carry a P239 and just purchased an XD sub-compact which I am pretty impressed with. I have enjoyed lurking here reading the threads... seems like a good group of people.

Have a nice cup of something and enjoy the wait. Sent my application off June16 still waiting. Last response from D.P.S. was that hurricane Ike has delayed the background checks for Harris county even more. Go figure.
