Question, did DPS send you any letters requesting more information, were there any problems with your fingerprints, etc that would have caused some delay?

No problems at all.

It took two months just to get the pin number.

So anyone's guess as to why it took so long.

I think yours came in right before the surge, and just got pushed to the bottom of the pile. Nothing sinister, just overload of work, with no way of hiring more people to help.
