Well, looks like I'm making it through another week in the "Waiting Room/Morgue" with the mundane status of "Processing Application". So, through Sunday (March 30th), I will be at 83 days.1 more week and I'll break the 90 day barrier. Kinda of gives the newbie a less than apprehensive feelin', eh?

Well, tomorrow I finish out week 12 and start on week 13. Hopefully, it's a lucky 13. Does anybody seem to notice that system updates happen more on Tuesday/Wednesday than any other day of the week or is it just me? Checking timelines that have been posted, it seems that is the case. Another reason why I wonder what the H is going on in Austin?

I have been on "Packet mailed to applicant" for over seven weeks now. I called a couple of weeks ago and they said my app was in prescreening. Has anyone had to wait longer?

The wife's status still says Packet Mailed to Applicant even though application was received in Austin on Feb 6.

No change to date. Still says "processing application" , DPS received 1/24......

Eight weeks after Austin recieved my app, the status has changed to "processing application" I wonder how long I'll be until the next change in status

I think I am now the old man here. Here is my timeline:

28 Oct 2007 - took the CHL class
2 Nov 2007 - mailed application
26 Nov 2007 - received PIN, checked online status = "Processing Application"
3 Dec 2007 - received letter, more info needed
7 Dec 2007 - i provided the the info they requested, online status = "Processing Application"

As of today, 28 March 2008, status is still "Processing Application".

That's nearly 5 months since I mailed it in.

This is unbelievable! I hope you've contacted them and be sure to tell them that they've exceeded their 60 day window!

This morning the wife's status changed to Processing Application. Hopefully it is not an April Fools Day joke.

Well, my bank says the check got cashed/cleared today. Exactly one week from when they recieved it. Making good time so far.

Now I'm waiting on a PIN so I can track my status online.

Well I got my pin 26 days after Austin got my packet. No complaints over here!
