Renewal times during WuFlu?

#1

Post by johncanfield »

I recently submitted my 3rd LTC renewal (hard to believe I've been carrying for almost 10 years), I was wondering how long DPS is taking in these crazy times. My change of address only took about 3 days but that was probably a simple process.

If you can remember, please update this thread when you get your new card. I'll do the same.

How long from submission to plastic? I submitted a few moments ago, yesterday was officially 6 months until renewal, but the website didn't give me a renewal option until this morning.

Congrats on your renewal

It only took maybe three weeks, I was impressed considering the ChiCom virus situation. I've been trying to get an address change for my Texas Private Applicator License (I can buy and use restricted herbicides) for a long time. Texas Department of Agriculture should take lessons from DPS.

9/16/20 Renewal Application Complete
9/30/20 All green; mailed
10/14/20 Plastic in hand

The delivery time was long enough to walk my license from Austin to Houston. Strange.
