Is it true that the website is only updated once a day? Or is that just an internet myth?

I’ve been checking status several times a day and it has never changed except overnight.

Yeah I’m kinda thinking that it changes late at night or early morning. I don’t think it changes in real time as soon as an update is made.

I don't have any direct information, but my guess is that it is updated with a batch file sometime at or after the end of the workday. They process thousands of applications and there's no way a single person or group of people could update the website individually. Plus, that would create a security problem.
