2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...

I've seen a lot of folks getting really quick processing times. Any ideas why the background review might be taking so long?

1/12/19 - All docs and requirements filed (Fingerprints, applications, class docs, etc)
1/15/19 - Application updated - "Background Check: Under Review and Print Pending"
2/15/19 - Background Check still under review.

I am in the same boat. I submitted my LTC 100 on 01/26/19. I got the confirmation email on 01/28/19. I didn't initially send the disposition of a 2006 public intoxication arrest. I decided to go ahead and send in that information yesterday (2/13/19). So we'll see how long it takes now.

I see a lot of folks with 2 weeks and shorter waiting periods. Anyone have any ideas why mine would be taking so long?

I have moved a couple times in the last 5 years, but other then moves, I have a clean background. I've had no problems purchasing, so I know my FBI backgrounds is clear. Thoughts?

Moving does slow down the process, especially if you moved across State lines. They have to wait for other States to submit any info, and some States, are not as gun friendly and get in no hurry, to send in the info. There are also things like having a similar name and DOB as a person with a shady background, that will require further scrutiny.
