I received mine back in June...now my wife has started her process.

Class: 1/30/16 (yes 2016)
Applied: 1/9/17
Fingerprints: 1/10/17
Submitted supporting docs: 1/11/17 (email received)
Background check under review: 1/19
Background complete: 1/20
Mailed: 1/25
Plastic in hand: 1/26

15 days from all in and 17 days from application. Not too shabby.

You must be an while some of us were back in the day.

She is...squeaky clean.

have 3 days on that status everything else went fast the print is taking the longest that all good or a should call?

Well yesterday i did received my LTC Taday my fist day of carry :)

Just checked.

All docs submitted on 1.5.14. This morning it says the only thing left is the printing.

It was in the pile of mail that arrived while I was visiting my parents in Kansas. The wife said it hadn't arrived, but when I double checked it was in there. So, it arrived sometime before the 25th when I returned. That means it was here within 20 days of submission. That's pretty good!

Well the day finally came received my ltc in the mail a few days short of a month now all that's left is to decide which pistol to carry.

I went ahead and got my application and fingerprints done ahead of time because first availability for a class was two weeks out. Fun note this is the second time I've done this now--from what I remember this is more running around and more money, but way less headache. Last time I did this it was right when Obama was making his way into office and wait time on licenses was about 4 months. I remember showing up for class around 8AM and not getting out until 7PM--ink fingerprints and passport photos were done in class and they got everyone ready to send in their manila envelope.

Of course I had to move out of state for a few years before coming back and my out of state license was only valid so long as I held a DL from the same state so here I am again. Been so long I forgot my login name and e-mail.

Finally got info about submitting supporting documents of a prior arrest in 1995 got those documents together and submitted those on 1/30 electronically with a note explaining my error.
5 days later my status is green and im in
PRINT PENDING!

Fingerprints 4-8-16
DPS Lost both Class form and DD-214 around 4-29-16
Emailed forms via secure email 4-30-16
DPS loses those and I don't hear about it till 8-15-16
Faxed Class form and DD-214 to DPS 9-15-16
Letter received from DPS that date not visible on faxed class form 11-7-16
Sent Class form and DD-214 copies via Certified Mail to DPS 11-9-16
Online status starts showing on website 12-5-16
Print pending since 1-12-17

11 months and no plastic yet.

Wow that is awful--don't regulations say even after a letter they only have 180 days to finish? 11 months is ridiculous.
