Re: "Waiting Room"
I called dps office today, my application was all sent and received December 2 2016 which means today is the 60 days. She tells me it's all recieved and not seeing that any further information is needed so I asked if you have 60 days why is my application not finished and she tells me they have 180 days if they want. I said if I had a arrest and something being questioned you have up to 180 days then she tells me well we have up to 8 weeks for processing. Anyone hear of this?
Re: "Waiting Room"
you were 100% right.. if something pops up on your background that you did not tell them about, then they have up to 180 days.... and its 60 working days not weekends and holidays .. November 17th is when my finger print and back ground check went "Under review " but I feel you, they do what they want, when they want, and as slow as they want !!!Brandon23 wrote:I called dps office today, my application was all sent and received December 2 2016 which means today is the 60 days. Re: "Waiting Room"
So I called them two things, my application was approved and they are printing. The other was that they almost messed up with my mailing address and residential address. Glad I called though.
Re: "Waiting Room"
Congrats man! How long after you sent in supporting documents until print? I sent mine in Friday last week.Zyme wrote:After five months..

Yeah hopefully, I had to grind them about it some. I asked why it was taking five months and why nothing had changed. I was supposed to be receiving a call back but by that time they updated.JCC511 wrote:Waiting for documents from the other state and will be submitting along with the form CHL78C. Re: "Waiting Room"
I submitted a cover letter with mine that stated it was my misunderstanding of the requirements, that i thought the records only went back 5 years, not all the way back to juvenile records. Not sure it will help but we will see.Zyme wrote:Yeah hopefully, I had to grind them about it some. I asked why it was taking five months and why nothing had changed.
