Hello everyone I'm new to this forum but I wanted to share my time line.
10/22/16-proficiency course completed
12/2/16-application submitted
12/13/16-fingerprints completed
12/16/16-submitted supporting documents
12/23/16-print pending
12/31/16-mailed
Now I hope I receive it by tomorrow but more realistically I will receive it on Tuesday 01/3/17. I was surprised that it was all completed so quick, especially during the holidays! Anyway, hopefully every one had a great and safe holidays!

Did you receive your LTC on the 3rd? I didn't....hopefully it will arrive on the 4th.....

Here is the timeline so far:

Honestly, since I'm getting a trigger-job right now on what will be my daily carry, I'm not in too big of a hurry. But it should be done before next week, so THEN I'll be impatient again.

It's been over 2 weeks since my license was mailed, so it's safe to assume that it was lost in the mail.
Unfortunately I have to wait 30 days before they send another. Has anyone else had this problem?

All of my information was relieved on December 6th and still waiting on the fingerprint and background check.
I took my class with my brother and his wife and they received theirs both exactly a week later. I put in a call last week to the dps just to make sure everything was good and wasn't missing anything and she told me no this process can go fast or sloooooow.

Some background: Had to file that I pled guilty to a misdemeanor in 1993 in the state of MS. I have held a State of Mississippi CHL for 10 consecutive years from 2001-2011 before taking a job with the DOD and moving to Japan. I have held a Secret security clearance for over 20 years on active duty and in civil service. I am a veteran so I also sent in a copy of my DD 214. My timeline as follows.

11/22/2016- all documents and fee accepted
12/08/2016- Background check in review
12/22/2016- called and was told they are still checking my background. She did mention that my vet status was verified on 12/06/2016.
01/12/2017- Background check still under review.

Makes me wonder how everyone is getting their LTC so fast lol.
