Telephone call from Austin...

My license is in printing, 7-10 days until it arrives...

I don't even know how to feel. It should get here around the 90 day mark or so. (I haven't counted in a while...)

02/10/16- Did online application for dps
02/16/16- Finished LTC Class and submitted CHL-100
02/17/16- Did F.A.S.T Prints and has been submitted
02/18/16- Got confirmation everything was good to go
03/09/16- Called to see if everything was ok lady informed me that i background checking and that it would be antoher 2-4 weeks to complete

So im not that worried about it now.. Like i was before at least the ball is rolling pretty fast for me.

Update RSD said i was approved on 04/13/16 when i called website status change 04/16/16 should be getting my LTC in hand on the 17th or 18th

Okay Mikezee1970, I broke down. I emailed the Governor at the end of last week, and yesterday got a phone call from the DPS saying my application had been approved and I should get my plastic in 7-10 days. Haven't changed the status on the website yet, but I did get a response![/quote]

Day 85. I couldn't take it any longer, finally emailed my state representative, state senator and the governors office. Not that it will help, but the nicely worded, polite rant made me feel better.

I got a confirmation e-mail on 1/25 that all of supporting documents had been received. As of today it's been 12 weeks since I got that e-mail. Every time I call the number on the website I get "due to the call volume our representatives cannot assist you" then the call drops. I filled out the e-mail form asking about an update 2 weeks ago and nothing. Any advice as to how I might get an update or speak to a real person?

I have been intouch with a lady from Senator Brian Birdwell and have not got anywhere with that really she says she talked with the DPS and will let me know but i dont have much hope at this point , my 60 business day will be wed. and if i do not hear anything i am going to do nonething but set here and call till i get someone that can give me some answers as to whats going on .

I have the same "All In" date as you. I called RSD (512) 424-7293 yesterday @ 07:15 I was on hold for approx 20 min and surprisingly someone picked up and said hello. She said my app was being worked on and is currently in the background check process (Bull S*!T detector was in the other room so who knows). No ETA on how long it can take. There is no rhyme or reason as to the dates that are being processed but there have been quite a few 1/21 approvals.SO one can only hope that within the next week or so I should have confirmation of approval.

I felt the same way. Mine changed this morning also. I logged out and back in to make sure I didn't put in someone else's information by mistake. Finally!!
