Right there with ya brother.... Looking up though. Although there are still some holdover's from early December, I just read of a confirmation from 12/30..... so, it looks like some early batches of 2016 will start being processed in the next couple days, so just a few more weeks before they start coming out. Hopefully, we'll be in those early batches (rather then later).

The wait is making me crazy too. Got my EDC, settled on a good comfortable holster, a stiff, solid belt and been wearing around the house, practicing at the range.... all the stuff I'm s'posed to be doing. I'll be ready when the time comes. I actually uploaded my docs on 1/14, but didn't initially receive an email, so I called on 1/21 and the nice lady told me I was all set and my docs were "in the" system. I got a confirmation email within an hour. I'm hoping that my upload date was my "clock starter" but in reality, I've settled on 1/21 when the email came in.

Good luck to you man! I've been carrying around the house as well and I get more and more comfortable with it every day. I ordered an alien gear and it's comfortable and seems to be pretty durable (although I've had very limited use with it). I also sent my docs in about a week and a half or two weeks before I got my confirmation. I physically mailed them off on 1/11, then after being informed that they hadn't come in, I uploaded digitally on 1/21 and got conformation on 1/22. Here's to both of us seeing plastic sooner rather than later. :cheers2:

Way to go brother! Glad to hear you've got plastic in hand! The sad part is that I took the course on the same day as you, but because I dragged my feet, I'm still a full month behind you.

Enjoy that walk!

So took the wife and kids to galveston this weekend with the money I had been saving for my carry gun, then get it in the mail today lol

I waited about 6 months for mine over 5 years ago. That wait was terrible. I just conducted a class last week and am interested to see how long they wait.

I am lucky. I filed my documents on June 26, 2015 and had my plastic 20-days later!

I'm sitting at 63 days now. No plastic. No status change online.

SW, have you tried calling them recently? I'm sure you will get yours before me, :waiting:

I've called a total of 22 times in the last 5 business days. Some "rapid fire" some with a wait in between. All I've gotten is the recording. I'm just wanting to find out if all my necessary paperwork is there. Have sent 7 e-mails. Reply........ ""Thanks for your e-mail".
My timeline:
12/30/15- on line app. and confirmation received. (the one with the big bar code)
1/8/16- finger prints with confirmation from morpho they were sent
1/30/16- chl class
2/5/16- chl 100 sent by secure e-mail. confirmation sent to instructor 2/8/16

I guess I'm just sittin' round the fire with yall drinkin some hot joe.

I've called 3x in the last 3 weeks. When I called today she said "Oh I see you've called in a few times. You're in background check, please be patient."

I thanked her for her help and asked if there was any sort of update/timeline info she could provide and she pretty much said "No, just be patient."
