if and when did website change for you ? biggjimm

It changed yesterday the 9th for me. 6 days from the day I found out I was approved.

My timeline:
12/24/15 - Online application - received e-mail confirmation with checklist
12/29/15 - Fingerprints submitted through IdentoGo - verified sent 12/30
01/30/16 - Class taken
01/31/16 - Scanned and submitted CHL-100 online

I see where several indicate they get an e-mail confirming receipt of CHL-100 when submitted online. So far I haven't received this. Should I resubmit? I sent online inquiry to verify receipt but still nothing.

Looks like I did everything backwards compared to others but I decided to get everything completed before taking class.

How long is the wait usually from now?

From what I can tell, it varies. Some have received their license and the website never changed. Some appear to have received their license the same day it changed.

That said, I would think if the website has changed for you then you're looking at a matter of days and not weeks.

Plastic received: 02/10/16

2/6/16 Attended LTC class and received CHL-100
2/7/16 Applied for LTC on dps.texas.gov
2/10/16 Fingerprinted and submitted CHL 100
2/11/16 received confirmation email from DPS stating please allow up to 6 weeks for processing
Now we shall see, I'll keep yall updated.

Not sure why the email took so long to get. I called after 7 days because I expected the email in 2 days like I had heard. They confirmed they had everything. I hope its no Indication of the wait. So now I wait!!

4/2 Well still nothing. One call a few weeks ago I was told I was through background and just waiting for someone to match up my paper work which he confirmed they have had since 1/13.

Looks like I did everything backwards compared to others but I decided to get everything completed before taking class.

Do not resubmit chl-100. The confirmation e-mail you received with checklist is all you're getting, unless they need any other information from you. Maybe give them a call to make sure they have all info they need. Good luck.

I am seeing these people with their last submission to DPS (Fingerprints) getting closer and closer to my Submission and I am getting more and more patiently impatient.

All I can say is "I'm ready now..."

Seriously? 25year old misdemeanor? Was it a disqualifying one at that?

Here is my timeline tale to share:
Application submitted- mid December, can't remember exact date but think the 14th,
Email confirmation that DPS received my DD214 and traning cert on 12/18,
Have been itching to call but held off, check website daily sometimes a few times daily because I love watching to see if the pot will steam or boil...
Called this afternoon and left a callback request. A very pleasant sounding young lady answered my call and I told her I was calling for a status update. She asked for my DL# and put me on hold for what seemed like 20 minutes but was probably only 3. She came back on and gave me the following status statement: "We have recieved your documents and need nothing further, please allow up to 6-8 weeks to verify your documents and then up to 60 days for your background check".
I then stumbled over my tongue a few times and finally said "so I should expect to see my license in April?"
To which I was informed "We have no control over the background investigations"

Any comments will surely be appreciated for comic relief.

Have made 2 calls since last Friday because I wasn't sure that I had heard RSD correctly the 1st time.
They received my docs on 12/20 (a Sunday and 2 days after they sent the confirmation email),
My application is in the 6-8 week "Document Verification" phase and after my documents are verified the "60 day" process time starts while they do my background check....what the heck
