Afternoon all,
New member here but I've been lurking and learning for awhile. I finally decided to go get my plastic and I am pleasantly surprised of how quick the process has gone so far.
My timeline:
7/25/15 online app
7/29/15 fingerprints
8/2/15 class and supporting docs emailed
8/3/15 confirmation email
8/20/15 status change on DPS website allowing me to update info

Now the hard part. I am in NYC until next week and all I want to do is check my mailbox back in the great state of TEXAS!

I am a couple days behind you, I got my confirmation email on the 8/5, hopefully I will be getting my status change soon!

What does the confirmation email say? Do they confirm that they received all of the required documentation? I completed the application online but I had to snail mail in my supporting documents. It's only been three business days since they were delivered to DPS, but I haven't gotten any confirmation email other than immediately after submitting the online application.

Hey Lauren - the confirmation email stated that DPS had received all of my supporting documentation, which I sent via email. It came the next day on a Monday since I submitted on a weekend I suspect. Sorry for the delayed response. You may have already received yours by now!
