I will have to wait to go to the office for my favorite wallpaper, but this is my primary carry laptops wallpaper. Only my special computers get special wallpapers.

Took this picture in Yosemite after the fire, with an infrared cut filter.

I browsed the internet uphill both ways looking for cool images a year or so ago and this is what I found. I can send you a high resolution copy if you would like.
I can almost garuntee you will love the next wallpaper I have coming up.

Took this pic in late February of this year.
Early one morning (this is actually a Sunrise); I was walking in to retrieve the memory card from my Trail-Camera… when a cold front blew these dark clouds over the top of a strata of lower clouds.
The contrast between the dark blue/gray clouds and the illuminated clouds beneath was both stark and beautiful.
The lighting was such that the pine trees appeared only as featureless figures standing in the cold, awaiting the warmth and life the sun would soon provide.
The picture itself…is not impressive, it was the
“moment in time”…I wanted to capture.
So much more was involved:
The crisp, dry morning air, normally still… now lightly buffeted by the approaching cold front.
The utter quiet of this pre-dawn environment, miles from any city…not polluted with the sounds of traffic, sirens or human activity.
A consuming sense that like “life”… this moment was fleeting and would soon change before my eyes. A moment to cherish… as I was privileged to enjoy the handiwork of almighty God. What an awe inspiring picture He did paint that morning.
That is why it graces my computer screen.
A daily reminder of a Heavenly Father and Savior.
Flint.

As a photographer, it looks pretty impressive to me.

More than one! It would be difficult to show my desktop. My
Mac's desktop has a rotating library of a hundred or so NASA pictures of space.
PCs? We don't need no stinkin' PCs. . . .BWAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!
