A few questions

I am new to reloading so new I have not even made a single bullet yet.

I have about 60 rounds of ammo for my Mosin however they are lacquered and stick in the chamber I was planning on taking them apart and using the powder and bullet to reload some brass I have is this a bad idea?

I also have .308 rounds I plan to reload I am trying to get them to be as accurate as I can, I have match grade rounds and powder so what is best for seating and how much will brass play into accuracy.

I cant help with the sticking, but I do know that you shouldnt reuse the powder. each powder is different with different burn rates and would be a shot in the dark (no pun intended) on getting the correct load data to keep from possible injury if you load it too hot.
if you are loading for accuracy, you need to know more about your rifle to determine the correct length. there are alot of good sites dedicated to this subject specifically (snipershide.com) is one of the better ones i have found.

Brass - depends how anal you want to be, but if you're going for pure accuracy, you really want consistency - same brand of brass trimmed to the same length, same bullet loaded to the same depth, same primer. Bullet-seating depth - well, it has to fit in the magazine (unless you're going to chamber each round by hand) and some folks prefer to have the bullet just kiss the lands, others want a bit of jump. Me, I just go for reliability.

Consistency is important. One thing to keep in mind about kissing the lands is that I think you subject yourself to two potentially bad things:
1) Because the bullet is seated against the lands, there are additional pressure factors to consider. Normally, not an problem, but don't ignore it.
2) (the more annoying one) if you get a misfire, bad primer, etc., good luck extracting that cartridge if it's kissing the lands just a little too much.

Consistency will not be a problem I am a bit anal that way.
What I have so far is
.308- 24" barrel, 1-10 twist
168 gr HPBT Hornady match bullets
Brass will all be same from match grade rounds
IMR 8208 powder
CCI large rifle primers

any advise for or against?
