Cool air gun..!!
I made a tool out of empty C02 cartridges to iron out the old bad crimps on 12 gauge plastic hulls.
It kind of heats up the plastic and straightens it so that it can be recrimped a lot better.
Cut in half, insert a 6 or 8/32 about 2+" screw/nut/lockwasher through cap and out the cut end.
Put into drill and turn it while applying pressure inside the plastic crimp area, plastic will heat up and reform a lot better than it was. Crimps better for me.
Yep...I had the same problem and hated to just throw them away. Might be the "Hoarder" in me???
I just hate to throw something away that could be used for something else. ( Repurposed )

I just asked what you would call them. I thought you might be a plastics engineer and have a proper chemical name for them.
Ya know, I have always wanted to load paper hulls. I just never did. I shot a bunch of them though.

Yeah.... I just couldn't throw them out!
And you know what I've found? As an ammo those things are pretty much indestructible! They don't even have a dent after going through a plywood sheet!
