VihtaVuori

I am now semi-retired and living in the Dallas area. Does anyone know of a Dallas source for VihtaVuori powder. I found a good store for reloading supplies in Garland but they do not carry VV powder.

Gun Masters in Plano (Ave K.) usually has some but it can be spotty so I would call ahead before driving over there.

Mind sharing the name of this store? I'm always on the lookout for a place to get supplies.

B & S Guns. They are about 100 yards south of I-30 on the east side of Broadway, I think this street is also called Beltline. I have made two trips there, first to get a 6mm Dewey cleaning rod and another trip to get a #3 RCBS shell holder.(both of which I found a couple of days after I bought new ones, just chaulk it up to the cost of moving)

They are a RCBS dealer and carry most common reloading stuff, decent selection of powder and best of all I found the people to be very friendly.

Thanks for the info on Gun Masters. I am 35 miles south of Plano so I will call before making that trip.

I would consider just ordering a large can from Powder Valley Inc. and paying the shipping/hazmat instead of making the 70 mile round trip. I also see that Graf & Sons is knocking $10 off the hazmat fee if you order 16lbs.

I quit looking and placed an order with Powder Valley, average price delivered to my door for the 6 different powders ordered is $28.25. To get things in perspective my last order to PV cost me $14.00 a pound delivered.
