Sabots

Has any one played with 30 caliber sabots? I did with 300 AAC Black Out. I got a 60gr. V Max up to 2800 fps gave up not enough velocity or energy down range no benefits to the round, I tried 6 different powders. Then switched to 308 Win I got a 60 gr V Max up to 3800 fps" 6-8 inch group at 100 yards" enough energy to big of group any ideas ? I plan to try 30-06 and 30-30. I found no problem of sabots hanging in flash hider sabots landed 4-10 feet out front of muzzle. Lots of muzzle flash. I had no feed issues.

I played with 30-30sabots back in the 80s. I was never satisfied with accuracy.
