One thinks theyre prepared until this happens...

#1

Post by CheckonChico »

Yesterday around 7pm I was doing something in the kitchen when all of a sudden I hear someone pounding on our door that separates our kitchen from the garage(so somebody was in our garage) :confused5. I was about 7ft from the door and instinctively reached for my gun....I didn't have it on me :cryin. Then, before I spotted my gun the person banging on the door had already made it inside the house! It was..............................my mom :totap:. She decided to stop by and didn't know I had a new puppy so she got afraid he was gonna bite her when he went to lick her feet "rlol" . This opened my eyes a bit and showed that I need to be more prepared, the next time it could actually be a BG. Also, that door is usually unlocked in the evening when I'm awake and the garage was open because I let the dog out until dark. I obviously need to make a few changes.

Or worse, the MIL.

Hey c-dub! The garage was open. I left it open to let the dog out. My driveway leads to my garage so its closer to walk there than around the house to the front door.

I hope that closing and locking your doors 24/7 is the first change.

That is a very popular combination when laying out a property. :-)
