Bud's Gun Shop (http://www.budsgunshop.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) - - - order what you want and have it delivered to your local FFL no hassels. They even have a list of FFLs that will do transfers in all States there is probably one in your area.

Yes, Bud's Gun Shop is awesome and hassle free. Prices are on point, especially with the used firearms. They also do a 90 day layaway. Be advised, your FFL dealer will have to hold the weapon for 2 weeks for it to clear a background check if you buy used. At least that was my experience with Guns Galore in Killeen. Now that I live only a hour away from Lexington, Ky , my wife is LOL!

I've bought dozens of used firearms online, although not from Bud's, and this has never been the case. My transfer FFL has never held a firearm.

First of all I was standing at the counter by myself hubs was in another part of the store looking for work boots. I was in the second hr of my paperwork before he walked up and I showed him the one inside the glass case that I was trying to purchase, then he again just walked away after standing there about 15 mins and helping me look for a holster. I had already purchased the gun and the guy that was walking me to the cash register asked why was I buying a gun. All that was left to do at that point was pay for it. They asked at the cash register if I was who I was guess that is why it took so long cause they put all the info from my 4473 along with TDL CHL #;s into the puter so it had to have time to get inside the cash register part of the computer, I guess. Have no clue. I was just really nervouse cause even after they had written down my license #'s they didn't hand me back my ID til I was ready to take my register walk. The guy said "I have them in my pocket they aren't going anywhere." The gun' purchases I made before I even had a CHL were not this frustrating. It wasn't any faster for the guy that came in after me he walked out the door about 15 mins. after I did. I was waiting at the door for hubs to pay for his stuff so I saw the guy come out with his little ruger box in hand. AFTER thought. This is the first time I have ever been asked WHY are you buying a gun>

There are a lot of things that didn't exist back in the 60's; e.g:

personal computers
digital stuff
Wal-Mart
and the list goes on and on and on.

Are we better now? I just dunno...

Wow do you have nostalgia goggles now, and I fixed that list for you, we had all the other things, or we don't have them now (no man has stepped on the moon in decades) and I can name a thousand things that are objectively better now than them including but not limited to:

Advances in medicine
The Internet allowing free and massive access to information
Cheaper and more efficient vehicles
Cheaper and more efficient TV's
Cheaper and more efficient construction
Cheaper and more efficient everything basically
Personal computers (really? you put this as a bad thing?)
More knowledge in every field
Contacts
Running water in more homes


etc. etc.
I can go on, but are we better now? Objectively most likely, subjectively not to you with your goggles on, but yes to me.

Well then, after that experience, I can assure you, I would never give them another nickel. Lots of places carry the same inventory they do.

Whenever I feel nervous making a purchase, I tell them quite firmly to cancel the purchase, and give me back my paperwork and ID now. This is my money, not theirs, and I have already been cleared as a gun buyer. When DynaBlue bought a Henry at the Pearland Academy a couple months back, there was none of this going on. We almost bought at the LC Academy a couple weeks ago, but they informed us that the upcoming sale would be better (it wasn't, so we didn't). I doubt I'll be going to the TC Academy anytime.

Really? TV's wern't fixable in the tube days either by a regular person, neither were vehicles, they were easier for cars, but you still had to have some knowledge, opening up a carb for the first time without instruction is not something you could do and not mess something up, and you can't do that today either (well not a carb, but other things). Medicine is cheaper now, we have more expensive medicines but they are also more powerful and better than any they had back then, penicillin is cheaper now, same with tylenol etc. Fake knowledge? Really? Bad water? Water is cleaner now than ever before. Cheaper contacts that are more advanced, last longer, available for more eye problems. Everything is more efficient now, if you sit and look at it objectively rather than try to remember that back in my day every car would run 300,000 miles and you could wreck it without any problem. Construction now is more durable (obviously depending on the building) than in the 60's, we build with the foresight of expansion, a house is not gonna have asbestos and will be easier to rewire or re-insulate or repair than a house from the 60's (I live in one, it's terrible, brick is crumbling, it's hard to work on, breakers are old and outdated..etc.) And as far as the internet, are you implying that the newspapers and news stations offered more correct information? Really? They're right most of the time but they never get the whole picture and only report about stuff that interests the person who decides to air it. With the internet you can find just about anything about anything.
