It's amazing how deadly unloaded guns are.

It's not the loaded guns you need to worry about. It's all the "unloaded" ones.TangoX-ray wrote:It's amazing how deadly unloaded guns are.
Keep calm and carry.

A bullet apparently remained in the gun?? Must have been tired of going in and out all day. Maybe it was just shy, I hate it when bullets just take on a mind of their own and start becoming disobedient. I still don't understand why he would have been taking pictures with the gun pointed at his face, loaded or not. I guess he's a candidate for the Darwin award.

Reminds me of the story of Terry Kath, the band Chicago's old guitarist whom Jimi Hendrix called the "greatest" back in 1970. Famous last words to his manager: "Don't worry, it's not loaded."

Oh wow. Im probably as new to firearms as they come, and I (because I'm a dork, I know) asked my husband the other day what an appropriate stance was to hold me gun and take a selfie. He gave me the 'are you kidding me' look, and told me that there was no way to appropriately take a selfie with my gun. Obviously I need him to keep me grounded, or I would probably be the moron that shoots herself in the face

Well....that certainly tells us a lot."When the incident occurred"
Sounds to me like 'cameras' cause gun violence.
How in the world do you shoot yourself in the face while photographing? Something/someone manipulated the trigger. Under what circumstance? Did the deceased have possession of the weapon or his girlfriend?
There is not a single 'detail' is given in the account.
Do you love 'reporters' or what.....?

Yeah selfies are a no-no, if you want pictures of you and your gun, do it at a range with someone else taking pictures from behind or beside you while you are pointing in a safe direction.

I was curious at first about how a concrete man shot himself until I realized it was the name of a town.

How does a concrete man die from a gun shot?
Re: Man accidentally kills himself while taking photos with gun
To be 100% correct, the story makes no mention of any kids he may have already sired.doncb wrote:And we have a winner of a Darwin Award!

Usually it's exsanguination (blood loss) or trauma to the central nervous system (shot to head or spine), just like everyone else.uthornsfan wrote:How does a concrete man die from a gun shot?
