CheyTac M200 Intervention, in .408 CheyTac: https://cheytac.com/product/m200-intervention-2/.
Very affordable at $12,169.99.

I would have to go with the 50 BMG, Availability of Ammo, a couple of years ago I was at the Ft Worth Gun Show and a guy was selling several large caliber rounds in different amounts depending on caliber, he had a couple of zip lock bags with 50 bmg in them, these were labeled RAUFOSS, since I didn't know what a raufoss round was I walked on and noted to look it up! I kinda wish I'd bought them but I bet BATMAN would have got me before I got more than 10ft away!

Just checked out the ballistics and gun, nice for sure! Had me laughing at "very "affordable". Does anyone remember when the Barrets were no where near the price they are now? Probably 15 years ago they were about half price, if my memory serves me correct [ correct me if im wrong ]. Dont know if they got a big head or what?

If I had money and cost was not an issue I'd have a 50-20, 20mm cannon casing necked to 50 caliber! And yes they do have those!

Haven't seen them myself but of course I knew of the 20mm rounds which are awesome. Going to check out that, ballistics must be incredible.

Yes just a no 50 and over policy. Unfortunately 300 yards is the max range

Got to go clear across town to the range that has 600 yards, otherwise I’d have to try to get into the Bayou club that does have 1000yds

Bayou doesn’t allow cartridges based on the 50.

The CheyTac M200 throws a .408 caliber 429 grain "Balanced Flight" bullet. They guarantee sub-MOA out to 2500 yards (1.42 miles), but other researchers have gotten even better distance results than that, claiming that the bullet remains stable and supersonic well beyond 2500 yards. A 1000 range isn’t going to be enough....

Ahh, MK211 yes you wanted it, though possessing it may have been an issue..id not be surprised if the ATF classified that round as a "destructive device"

Ammo and rifles in 50 BMG have come down in cost due to a decrease in popularity so I pick 50 for that reason. I’d be hard pressed to be able to shoot 1000 yards much less anything past that.
