Well,
My latest handgun is a Steyr M40A1 (newest version) and there are no real holsters available for the gun.
I contacted Houston Custom holster maker Hoffner.
he's making me a duty holster and an off duty (concealment) holster.
Should have it next week.

For off duty I'm going with this........
Watta ya think?

Looks good. I like the design for strong-side carry from 3-4 o'clock. Proper cant, high & tight, sight channel, and a skin saver flap to keep that safety, rear sight, and hammer spur from digging in.

Let us know how it works.

Hey madecov,

Okay... nevermind. Now that you mentioned the Steyr, I know where we met before.

Glad to see you got the M40A1, by the way. How do you like it in comparison to the original M40? Any major [functional] improvements?

For the others: http://www.steyrclub.com

Stay safe...

The new M40 has better ergonomics. A few slight improvements. It points better than the older version (for me).

Used to have a P7 M13, great gun, very quick to draw and shoot. Only problem is that 9mm.

Now I'm a 45 dude !

I'll be there this wednesday for sure.
I had to transfer 2 more Steyrs to folks getting started at the Police academy.

Hope I have my new M40A1 holster by then.

Glen, Yea, us guys and our Steyrs. It's a shame they just can't compete with the Glocks and 1911s.

In a few month's you'll be hearing a whole lot about Steyr. Then all the Glock guys will wish they had purchased one when they where cheap.
