Anyone on here ever concealed the beretta nano? I have one and figured it would be decent to carry not to heavy I just never carried yet still waiting on plastics but want to know what y'all think overall my thoughts is I love beretta guns have other pistols but this one has no protrusions (safety, slide lock, etc.)

I have a couple. They're OK, my main problem with them is that the sight's height over bore is a little higher than I'm used to. And while the trigger looks Glock-like, with the drop safety on it, it doesn't have a short reset like a Glock. I'll be selling the Nanos and buying 9mm versions of the Glock 42 if and when Glock makes something like that, but until then the Nano is the best single stack 9mm on the market.

I have total of 3 pistols for now beretta nano beretta px4 storm 40 full frame and a taurus pt609pro
I might end up buying another pistol to conceal if none of my firearms are efficient

imho, as much as i love my nano, i think the shield has a better grip angle,trigger, and just overall package in the single stack 9 market.

i recently installed the pearce grip (pinky extension) on the 6 rounder. it feels a little better in my hand.

That would be a deal breaker for me.

I use it for my carry with 135gr jhp when I particle with 124 or higher it works perfectly but I never ran through a magazine of 115gr without failure idk why

JC - That"s what I thought about the 115 gr. I have read the Nano is a no go with the 115 gr. Once you go higher it works like a top. I do not know why Beretta does not indicate in their owners manual to use 124 gr or higher. I use 124 gr. in mine and it works perfectly. Let me put it this way ; I trust it enough to carry it.

My wife and I both have Nano's, hers is a year old and it didn't like the 115gr ammo at first but worked without a flaw on 124gr. she has 1500+ rounds down range and now it eats 115gr just fine. Mine is a month old, 124gr ammo feeds perfect but still doesn't like 115gr. Time will tell if mine will loosen up and feed 115gr better. We both carry with 124gr HP's just because it's been reliable from day 1.

I agree to this so I didn't have to get so much 115gr I'd get te 124 target

It's odd that my taurus pt609 pro feeds just like my nano with the 115gr

Maybe the feeding ramp is bit high and nano prefer longer bullet. my carry ammo is124gr. I suggest to polish the feeding ramp.

The nano has been my edc for almost 2yrs. I've never had any issues with feed, fire, or eject. I routinely run 115, 124, & 147 through it. I get better results when I use the heavier bullet. I carry the 8 round extended mags for better grip & more capacity.

That being said, I'm itching to try the s&w shield now that they're making a version without an external safety.

I've been pocket carrying the BU9 Nano in a Blackhawk Size 4 pocket holster for over a year now and have put somewhere between 500 and 1,000 rounds through it at the range with no problems. I use mainly 124 grain ammo, but have not had problems with 115 either. I have all three grip options: 6 round mag, 6 round mag with Pearce grip, and 8 round mag. But I prefer the standard 6 round mag for pocket carry. There are other good pocket carry pistols out there. But the BU9 is mine. I'm real happy with it and I don't plan on changing.
