Pocket Holster a Must

#1

Post by stash »

Read in the news that a Florida Correctional Officer (off duty) reached into his pocket to retrieve a valet ticket but "found" the trigger of his gun. You guessed it - - - the gun discharged a round which injured 6 people in a nearby restaurant. All the injuries were from shrapnel and were minor (5 treated at the scene and one to hospital). Gun was not described and it did not indicate whether the gun was in a pocket holster or not. I am just assuming it was not being that he "found" the trigger.

:iagree: My gun is always in a holster unless I've got it in my hands ready to shoot.

The only thing I could figure was the bullet splintered after hitting something, subsequently pieces of the bullet hitting the people.
