For gun cleaning, I've been using Brakefree CLP and thought it was the only one on the market.

Now, I understand there's a whole bunch of different CLP's for gun cleaning.

Anyone know which one is considered THE best or is there such an animal?

I've been watching Mrgunsngear's videos and he uses a CLP to clean guns, (that's where I discovered there's more than one CLP) but, he didn't mention the brand he uses.

He did say to use a synthetic CLP and Brakefree is a synthetic, but maybe there's a newer/faster/better/can leap tall buildings in a single bound CLP.

What say you?

It might very well be, but others have used it. Its an acronym Clean Lubricate Protect.
Best is something you will have a hard time getting all the facts on. Not many have used them all. Seems the newest and from what I have seen pretty well reviewed is Frog Lube. I have some, not sure it does any better than Break Free though, although it does smell minty fresh! lol And it biodegradable if that makes a difference to you. Most say to get the best out of it you have to let your weapon get somewhat warm, like 100° and then apply it. I have had good results with Mpro 7 as well. TO be honest I think they all work just fine as long as you use them. Heck there is apparently one called liberal tears! lol I wont post a link to it, because there is vulgarity in the URL, but you can google it if you so desire.

I generally use separate products for C, L, & P. I've been testing FrogLube, but don't like how it thickens in cold weather.

cleaning: MPro-7 and Otis solvents, Hoppes #9
Lube: mostly FP-10; Frog Lube in a couple of guns, Slide-Glide where grease is needed
Protection: FP-10, and sometimes Johnson Paste wax

For C I use Ed's Red or Hoppes No.9

For L I use Mobil1 10W40 or 20W50

For P I use RIG

I have tried several of the all in one CLPs and they always come up short on either C, L, or P.

Ed's Red is a mix your own cleaner the recipe can be found by googling Ed's Red.

Mobil1 or any other full synthetic motor oil will work as good or better than the best "gun" oils.

eta: A lot of the old time products worked just fine the new high priced wonder products can't do every thing as well as a dedicated product. The old adage "there's nothing new under the sun" applies to gun care products especially.

I've been using Gunzilla for several years now and have been very happy with the results.

Do any of you use CLP and nothing else to clean and lube your guns?

Such a thing would be nice if it does a good job.

For years, I've been going through the laborious: Step one, clean everything (almost anyway) with Hoppe's No. 9.

Step 2, dry off the solvent with clean patches.

Step 3, apply lube. This is lot of tedious work. Yep, it get's the job done, but takes a fairly long time, at least for me it does.

If I can sure that using CLP as an all in one solution, well, that'd be great! However, I don't know if this really gets the job done properly...?

Brownells has a product called AdvantageCLP that is really really good. Does everything that BreakFree does but better.

IME it emulsifies the gunk faster, it is "slicker" and stays in place better without being gummy, and it coats exterior metal surfaces well.

Ya might give it a try.

Well darn, Brownells advises the AdvantageCLP is on back order so they suggested Ballistol.

I repeatedly asked if it's a one step product like Ad-Clp and I couldn't get a straight answer.

After exhaustively searching every CLP I can find, I think I'll go with Fireclean.

I use the Breakfree CLP on my handguns as a solo product. As far as I can tell it works as intended.
