Could it be? Our GOP is finally waking up?

Just saw this on Yahoo:
Republicans in the Senate and House are expected to introduce a joint bill Friday that would limit the amount of ammunition that federal agencies are allowed to buy and stockpile over the next six months, the Washington Free Beacon reports.
The bill, titled the Ammunition Management for More Accountability or "AMMO" Act, is being proposed after several lawmakers have voiced concerns about some federal agencies, like the Department of Homeland Security, seemingly stockpiling large quantities of ammo.

OK, so they won't be able to kill us all as many times.

They also won't be able to use our tax dollars to drive up the price and create artificial shortages.

My GOP would have passed campus carry two or three sessions ago. The thing that calls itself the GOP may be a lot of things but sure as shooting "mine" isn't one of them.

I'm not holding my breath. When I see it passed and signed into law, I might believe it. Until then, it will just be another Fed tactic to try to separate law abiding people from their guns ... and ammo.
