O.K. how many of you knowledgeable CHL Forum members out there knew that a rifle like this even existed,especially back then?

I did. American Rifleman, I believe, did an article on it in the last few years. Cool!

Pretty awesome. It would be interesting to see something like that available today. My guess is that the destructive power stated makes it too powerful to be considered as "just an air gun", but rather a regular firearm. Yet, probably not as powerful as modern firearms, somewhere in-between, meaning there may not really be a market for it in modern society. Still, back then, that was impressive.
