Video:FPS Russia rocks Glock 17 w/hi-cap mag, incendiary rds
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbsgHbXubGU
The above video is from FPS Russia and runs 2M:45S.
He initially fires a .775 caliber rifle.
But most of the video is him using a Glock 17 with a very strange-looking extra capacity magazine.
It's "more than 30" rounds, but he never states how many. Does anyone know?
The firing appears to be fully automatic - if so, how is he doing this?
Then he fires multiple mags of incendiary ammo, with one round exploding close to his face.
Does anyone know where FPS Russia lives? He speaks good English, so it seems he might be in the US.
It's great that he has such rural property where he can shoot freely.
Enjoy.

He says Glock 17 but unless it is modded some how it is a Glock 18. I forget the company but they sell them for the Glock 18. I assume it works the same on a Glock 17 both being 9mm.
Edit: There are a couple of youtube videos with the Glock 18 and that mag. they might say how many rounds.

To own a 18 you either need the special FFL for full auto or be some type of LEO(in the US at least). I have never seen one in person.

I remember reading somewhere that he is in USA somewhere rural. I forget where. I also remember that he has a dealer license as well. I don't remember what kind either..
Love his videos.

I looked up his story after watching a couple of his videos and wondering the same thing. He is basically a youtube "star" who started out with the whole russian act, using normal civilian weapons... After gaining some notoriety, various vendors let him use their cool toys and let him film his youtube shows. I guess for the coverage he gives their products.
edit: IIRC he is from Georgia. Not russian.

Pretty poor groups in full auto, shot dispersion from shore to shore. Even with all of those rounds downrange, he missed a couple of the bottles.

In the slow motion of firing, i think I counted (with the magazine with the 2 cylinders(?) ) about 70 rounds, then a quick burst at the end, in normal speed, till empty, I think then it was 80 rounds or so total

FPSRussia is not Russian. He's American. He makes videos that are definitely appealing to the 16-25 year old group, who see his stuff and

you know you can't even play with toys over in mother russia so anyone actually thinking he was from there is an idiot. but the mini gun on the chopper was awesome for sure. I'm curious who paid for that ammo dumps worth of 308.
Re: Video:FPS Russia rocks Glock 17 w/hi-cap mag, incendiary
Indeed, he is definitely not Russian. While his videos are lacking in safety many times, and as mentioned, are geared toward the younger "video game crowed" I find them to be neat in the "Ooooooo shiny 'splosion!" department at times.
Whoa there buddy, some folks aren't born with the knowledge or the ability to pick out a fake accent - no need to call anyone any idiot.Big_Red_Tex wrote:you know you can't even play with toys over in mother russia so anyone actually thinking he was from there is an idiot. but the mini gun on the chopper was awesome for sure. I enjoy his videos but find myself cringing at his safety procedures. He constantly sweeps the cameraman and sometimes has poor trigger discipline.
I also notice little things like his recent video with the FN FiveSeven, he put a forward grip, making it an SBR (doubt it is registered, but who knows)

This guy is new to me...
That was FUN to watch.
Thanks.!
Hey BRT.... You'll not last long or make many friends here calling anyone an idiot.
It's ok to point out errors, but it's good form to be polite and informative, not snotty and insulting.

I recommend "hickok45" for serious reviews on a wide range of firearms.RoyGBiv wrote:This guy is new to me...
