Is there an equivalent S & W model when looking for accessories?

Specifically, does anyone know what the HKS Speedloader model number is? is it 586?

Thanks,

Rick

Check out this application chart and see if it answers your question.

http://www.pistoleer.com/hks/revolver/

I have quite a few speedloaders laying around that I'd swap for other gun related items if you're interested and if I have what you need.

Can't.
Work has it blocked.
I'll have to check it tonight when I get home.

Thanks for the tip!

How dare they block my surfing! :D
They pretend to pay me, I pretend to work. Works out for all concerned. :D
Seriously, though, thank you for the info, and I will check out this evening the website offered.

Addendum: They have most "gun" websites blocked. How I can still get on here is a mystery.
Blocked:
Dillon
Midway
All gun manufacturers
Ajax
Galco, etc.

probably running a filter on thier dns server for words including "gun."

Try this as a workaround (a cheat).

when at home, open up a command prompt (for windows xp go to Start --> Run --> type "cmd" --> hit enter)

once at the command prompt, key in the following:

should say:
C:\Documents and Settings\#USERNAME#>ping http://www.blockedgunsite.com

The 123.456.78.910 number is called the ip address. You can enter that in directly to your browser window, and you can take the corporate dns server out of the picture and get straight to the site you want. This isn't fool proof, they may have it blocked by ip address at the switch, but this would be difficult, since you have to know EVERY ip address you wanted to block (cost lots of $). They probably have the generic dns filter.

Glossary of key terms

DNS - Domain Name Service - this works like a phone book. There really is no http://www.foxnews.com. It's really 63.147.175.93 (try it, put that in your browser. A DNS server simply translates names into numbers. It just does so seamlessly to the end user.

IP Address - like a phone number, this is a specific identifier that allows you to interact with the rest of the computing world. Takes the form of xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Already had that one bookmarked on my home computer. Just found it when looking.

Gig, thanks for the info, but I'm not going to jack around at work. It's not that important. I'm only there for 8 hours. :D

Does anyone know where to get double cases in natural, russet, or tan instead of black? I can find black & cordura all day long.
