Cruising the aisle at a local gun show and a 25-5 45LC with a 8" barrel just had to go home with me.
It makes loud noises!

Pretty gun. Glad it was speaking to you, because if I had come home with it today it may have cost me a divorce -- or at least a couple of nights on the couch.

And speaking of gun shows ...
What is up with a seller who bring an absolutely filthy gun to a show to sell?
Same can be said for pawn shops ...
Any one else noticing this happening?

I sure have noticed it. I've actually offered people less for their gun, and when they asked why, I said, "because it obviously hasn't been cared for."
I keep my guns and magazines clean.

I picked up an old West Hurley Auto-Ord 1911 in the gun shop a couple of years ago. It's not the prettiest thing, it rattles like mad, and it refuses to feed anything but GI hardball, but it was staring at me from the case like an old dog in the pound, so I took it home. I enjoy shooting that gun as much as anything else I have.

My Seecamp .380 was whispering to me for years. Partly for what it is, and partly because my family has history with Seecamps (my old man carries an old .25 that he bought new in 84).

Yes. It said, "Put on your hearing protection."

Mine speak to me all the time, but only in a loud & percussive language that I can't understand.
