I noticed there are no FFL's mentioned here for transfers in the Houston area.
Can anyone recommend someone that is reputable and charges a fair price?

Martini Hardware is near I-45 and Griggs Rd. They charge $15 for your first one and $10 thereafter. Very nice folks and easy to deal with. And you can get that pair of hinges that you need, too!

Thanks 4t5,
I drove in today to introduce myself and make sure I understood what they needed.
Your post was accurate and they are very friendly.
I will definitely be using them often.
They weren't aware of this forum, so maybe they'll visit now.

Thanks for the offer. I'm sure your post will be of interest to other parties on that side of town.
Living in Baytown, Martini Hardware on the east side is going to be the most convenient. I was told that there is someone there 7 days a week that can complete the transfer.
Dealing with any working FFL, there are usually specific days and/or times that he is available to handle transfers. That can mean waiting days for your firearm if it arrives at the wrong time. There can also be a delay sending his FFL to the dealer if he runs short of time.

I'd like the contact info for an FFL in NW Houston. I'm located near FM 1960 and FM 249.

I used Martini hardware and they are top notch. Slightly rough part of town, but awesome service. Only place I know that is 12/7 service! Think about buying some hardware while you are there, they obviously make crap on the service. They are a mini home depot. I 'll buy comsumables, like duct tape, batteries, and such I know I've eventually use. Nice family owned business.

Martini Hardware is back up to speed accepting transfers after repairing the damage from Ike..
Effective 2/1/09, they are now charging $20 per transfer.
Great folks to deal with!
