Interesting Concealed Carry Rig for Ladies

Check out this video that shows the potential of a new concealed carry rig for the ladies.

It'll work best with tiny guns (mostly .380 and below), but is revolutionary in its concept as far as I know.

The draw and fire times achievable with it are impressive, and the unique draw stroke would probably not be recognized as such until the weapon is brought into play.

Availability may be limited at this point, but it appears to be worth watching.

I have always joked about what could be hidden where.... I do worry about how you have to reholster...Not sure I want to point my weapon at my torso....

I would also worry about what the sweat would do. Some ladies may glisten, but I am sure you would want to make sure there was some sort of unergarment between your skin and the kydex...

This is intriguing for shirt/skirt combos - moreso than a thigh holster which is just weird for me. JMPHO.

I wonder how concealable it will be for those women who are, ahhhh, less than well endowed.

Or maybe it will work with a Bro

Interesting concept! Looks like it's perfect for tee shirts and other tops that aren't tucked in tightly. Divided Attention, I agree with your comments.

Yeah, there aren't any guns narrow enough for that to work for my girlfriend....

I hope she doesn't see this! :leaving

Ah, ummmm - - - this looks a lot like the female version of Thunderwear/Smartcarry - - - pointin' a gun at something you don't want destroyed.

Even if that were a viable option for me, which it isn't, I cannot imagine how my shoulders would feel having that weight there all day every day. Bra straps are not typically known for being ergonomic (a few exceptions do exist) and putting that weight hanging right in the middle would not play on the typical bra's ergonomic strengths. Maybe women who carry a lot more weight there anyway wouldn't notice the addition as much, but I imagine it would be awful on my neck and shoulders.

Hello Y'all, this is Mrs. Snatchel :))

Hubby asked me to comment on this since I tried on our friends a few days ago. I'm 5/4, 107 lbs, and a C cup. This holster was uncomfy uncomfy uncomfy. I dont know, even with different shirt/blouse/bra combinations I couldn't find anything comfortable for more than 5 minutes. The worst thing about it was the weight, and I think it was a kimber .380.. so not even that heavy of a gun. It didn't "print" in most of my clothes, but it did give me a lopsidey look in most everything. So I give it a :nono: since there ins't a thumbs-down smiley.

Oh, I tried on her crossbreed mini tuck and loved it! Only i would have to wear blouses that are loose and a little long at the hem to cover it up. Y'all work hard to hide these things...especially the ladies. Good luck!!!!

... Mr Snatchel again. I am not even going to edit her post so y'all can talk about this mysterious Kimber .380. I have been talking about Kimber this, Kimber that so that maybe she will get the idea in her head to let me get one.. so at least the name stuck! Snatchel-1 Mrs. Snathel-0

I am impressed at how quickly she could draw and fire the weapon.

Waiting for people to condemn it though... (same objections as to horizontal shoulder carry).

it's def within easy reach, and quick to draw. I can't argue that

Well, the idea seems good. We just need to find a way to support the weight better?

A polymer framed small caliber gun might make this aspect much more tolerable.

The concerns with where the gun points are worthy of further thought. Inserting the gun in the holster requires it to be parallel with the front of the body. During the draw stroke, a step back with the dominant side foot would point the gun generally toward the opponent, but one would have to be careful not to place the non dominant arm in the way.

Adherence to Rule 3 (finger off the trigger until pointed at an identified target and a decision to fire has been made) would be particularly important here.

Like Thunderwear, I see this as a limited special circumstance solution with the usual number of caveats rather than a preferred method for everyday carry.

And yes, there was a weapon in the video......

...the first thing I noticed about the situation was that her gun malfunctioned and the slide didn't close after the first shot...I am not a mousegun fan..HOWEVER...women have a much harder time concealing than we men because of the way they dress...I applaud this idea for those who are willing to bear a bit of discomfort in order to go armed...a tightening up here and there may alleviate the sagging..sweat's a fact of life in Texas...assuming a reliable weapon can be chosen with a double-action stroke, I like it...I carry IWB anywhere from 10-2, and when I sit, my weapon is pointed at me...I know a lot of guys who carry IWB and their butt is in line with the barrel....shoulder holsters also put the barrel where it shouldn't be in some circumstances, as do pocket holsters...with a quality weapon of good design, this is much better than going unarmed, and I'd buy one for my wife and daughter, if they wanted it...those more modestly endowed could just dress a bit more loosely if necessary...I give it an A...a lot better than nothing and a quick deployment...
