Creating a shooting video for family...need music!

#1

Post by pbwalker »

My uncle is coming back down from NY and I am going to take him out shooting again, only this time there are going to be about 5 of us! I'm going to be taking out my HD camera to record video and stills. I'm going to put it all together in a short (about 4 to 5 minute) montage for a keepsake. I need some music to put over it!

Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been giving some thought to Metallica, Pantera, etc. Even some Satch, but I'm stuck...

I'm open to ideas!

Oh, I agree 100%...I wasn't going to use it to replace actual audio...more of a filler.

I edit and make my videos with Pennacle Studio 14 and it has all kinds of music, effects, titles etc.You can really make some cool stuff with it.
You can get songs from you music library also.If making a Vid for someone else you have to think of what they want to hear.
Personnaly i can't stand some Video's that have too much of some sounds.

All Guns Blazing - Judas Priest
Take No Prisoners - Megadeth
No Remorse - Metallica

Or, if you're considering Satriani, The Extremist might work. The harmonica solo gets me every time.
