wondering how many of you guys are regulars over there. as some might know, im in afghanistan, about to ETS out of the army and return to houston. i live really (REALLY) close to shilow and after reading all the reviews im really psyched about having it so close. i plan to take my ccl class there, as well as taking a class or two a month during the week.

for those who do frequent shilows id be interested in meeting up, maybe even starting a group shoot for the board for those members who live close once a month or so, as a good way for us to get together, bull, and more importantly shoot each others guns haha. also looking to plan a shotgun, ak-47, ar-15,(i will bring those) and whatever else you guys want to bring shoot for an outdoor range probably after the holidays. (im an armorer among many other things for the good ol u.s. army so if you bring your AR i will gladly TI it for ya to army specs.)

for any who do or do not frequent shilows, just fyi, i have a mortuary and residential electrical company in my immediate family. god forbid you need funeral services (anywhere in texas), pm me. if you need residential or commercial electrical (greater houston metro), or any other kind of contract work, please let me know as well. my family has alot of contacts in both areas and i would love to help out those who have helped me out the last month or two ive been on the board.

that is all. :patriot:

Sounds like fun. I go to Shiloh quite a bit. I live and work about 10 mins from there. They have an IDPA club called the Shiloh Tactical Shooters http://www.shilohidpa.com that meets there each Thursday night. I also took my chl class there. Tracy w/ Double Impact was the instructor. Really good stuff. I just joined IDPA so I am planning on going there for that each week. Forgive my ignorance but I have an AR not sure what you mean by TI to army specs. Anyways. I am intrested if you would like to get a group together at shiloh just let me know the details.

ti is technical inspection, just basically a 20 level check of the function and fit. 20 level is like between user and direct support... ah man too much army jargon.... it means ill check it out for you and let you know if anything needs to be replaced or is getting worn lol.

as far as meeting up, i will update this thread when i get back (october time frame) and we can go from there. im looking forward to it, and i will be joining you in the idpa club if my residentail electrical classes schedule allows.

The CHL classes at Shiloh are great, highly recommend them.

The folks behind the counter at Shiloh is what I enjoy the most. Two gentlemen spent lots of time with me yesterday one on one trying to help make up my mind on a pistol. Very good folks there.

How many folks does Shiloh usually have on their IDPA night?

I'm a regular at Shiloh. When I'm not traveling for work, I attend regular shooting classes at Shiloh. I took my CHL class at Shiloh, and bought my first gun there. Unfortuantely Shiloh isn't near my house, but it is the closest indoor range to my area.

I've been to Shiloh plenty, but probably not enough to be considered a "regular" as work (and new family) keeps me busy. Wish I could get there more! Would be interested in meeting up for a pistol shoot there and an AR15 shoot at an outdoor range.

Stay safe in the sandbox! :patriot:

Shiloh is not my nearest range but I go there now and again because I like it. I did my CHL course there (with Tracey). Feel free to contact me when you organize a get together,
