"Easy" IWB Holster

[Teamless]

While I am at work, I am not allowed to carry (inside the gate/doors) but can have my weapon in my car.
So as I cannot carry at work, I also do not have my Minituck on.
So when I leave for lunch or leave for the day, I have to mess around in my car for a while to get my Minituck on properly, or simply cannot carry until I get home, and set it up right.

So I am looking for an "easy" to put on holster (IWB). So I am guess I am looking for something with 1 clip on it, rather than the double clips of the Minituck.
Also I am not looking to spend a whole lot of money on it, maybe $50 or less (hopefully much less).

I would think that the belt clip would work best for your purposes most of the time - but as you can see there are a variety of other routes you can take the same holster.

I have the same situation at work. My solution is to wear my Supertuck all day and leave the gun in the car during working hours. As soon as I get back to the car it's a quick and discreet transfer.

I never even notice the Supertuck during the day. In fact, I'd feel nekkid without it.

I do the same with my Minotaur when I have to duck into school (work) after hours or on the weekend. I do have to take the belt up a notch or two.

I recommend the High Noon also. Fairly easy to put on and take off.

One of the factors affecting comfort and concealability is having the belt clip/j-hook/whatever, offset from the main portion of the weapon. If it is offset it does not add to the thickness of the gear. If the clip/j-hook is directly in line with the pistol it can add nearly 1/2 inch to the overall thickness. That adds to bulge and discomfort.

Something like the comp-tac 2-oclock, or the comp-tac infidel might be more useful overall. I have used the Infidel (actually, it earlier counterpart, the Shirttucker) for years with a Glock 30. It is excellent for on/off situations you describe but is VERY discreet and easy to wear. I even use it at IDPA matches. Very fast to deploy if not tucked in and not bad when it is.

Comp-tac is not the only one to make such a thing but theirs have very good quality and excellent service.

yep, same with Comptac/Minotaur. Rarely do I notice it during the day and an easy transfer back into holster for drive home.

+1 I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. I thought I was weird for leaving mine on all day. But since I often leave the office for lunch I figured it was easier to just leave it on. I also have a Supertuck.
