I am giving it some serious thought. If I go, it will be Sunday. Have to work on Saturday.

How big is this one typically? I went to the one in Ft Worth a few months back and it was rather small. I won't make the drive to Denton for that size.

I went last time, but its been a long time since I did a Fort Worth Show. I would say IIRC, it is just slightly larger, but it was a good show. Less beef jerky and beanie babies, more guns and friendly folks.

If I get bored, I might. I've had my eye on a Bersa 380. I just might buy one this time.

I need to do a side by side comparison of a P229 and a P239.

' Gonna be there workin' DCSA table most of the weekend. Gotta bail out right after lunch Saturday to do a little class, but should be around all day Sunday. Y'all drop by and introduce yaselves. Some of ya, again ;-)

There was some talk of it being in another location, but the table gal confirmed earlier this week that this one is at same location (old K-Mart). ' Hope their AC is workin' well.

Quite a few people there before I had to leave about 1:00 Saturday, altho there is only one outward swinging 3 X 7 door in the midst of boarded-up entrance.

When I inquired inquired about getting the same table location for the next one, the gal said "This will be the last show here. This building is supposed to be bulldozed beginning Monday."

She said her boss would be making an announcement over the PA about the future. I don't have any classes today and should be able to spend most of the day at table. But, certainly gonna walk over to Catfish King for lunch.

We got to go to the Denton show Saturday. It was pretty good. In fact, so good, I bought a S & W - M & P 40. Couldn't pass it up for $409.95 + tax. Best price I've seen anywhere. They had 9mm's for the same price. Check out A.J.C. Sports Shop booth. They are out of Clute, Tx and make the local gun shows. Good prices.

We come in from Frisco on Hwy 380. The last time we went to the Denton gun show down Hwy 380, they were working on it and there were many traffic jams. But now the road has been upgraded and it's a peice of cake.
I had a great time and got to fondle a lot of nice guns.

Do as I did...get both and smile!

229 for both home and carry works fine with Colorado vest finally got...and 239 with Galco best and holster...Fletch..carries high enough with thumb release in great leather!!

a Sig guy here 4 sure...
