Just curious...
What Brand, Configuration do you carry in what rig?

Larger than fullsize, actually. I carry a Springer hi-cap (P14 clone) in a Milt Sparks watch six IWB. That holster is just about the greatest thing since sliced bread, as I can carry for 20 hours straight in total comfort with that gigantic pistol.

I've always liked a Commander length. I shoot a 5" a little better but don't even own one anymore.

2 Commanders at present. Kimber Pro CDP & Eclipse Pro ll. Have carried a full size Springer. That does well in a Comp-Tac Gurkha. I also shoot the 5 in better (but then I shoot the 22 in barrel on my M1A even better still) The commander, for me is the better for CC. Faster access & presentation. Accuracy, COM, out to legal defence range is no different at all.

Kimber Custom CDP. Fullsize.
Either a Galco IWB or Galco Pancake.

I think frame/grip size is more important for concealability than slide length. Officer's frame here - but they usually come with the shorter barrel/slide lengths so I have a 3.5" barrell. I still need a full sized model though. Not sure I would CCW it, but it would be nice to have.

I am now carrying a Kimber Ultra CDP in a Milt Sparks summer special, waiting for my 5 shot rig to get here. I have carried my Colt/Clark Combat gvt model in a Summer Special. The problem is the grip size not the barrel length.

All I have are full size so I don't have much of a choice.
Springfield Loaded or Kimber Team Match II in a Comp-Tac CTAC
Springfield Professional in a Milt Sparks VM2
Also a simple Fobus double mag carrier on my support side with (2) 7 rd mags.

Springfield loaded in a Milt Sparks Watch-6. Wilderness instrucor belt. Shirts untucked. Yes, it still does print a tad. You really have to watch out for bending at the waist.

Kimber Classic Custom in a Milt Sparks SSII or Blade-tech kydex copy of SSII.
or
SA Champion Loaded in MS VMII
or
Kimber Ultra CDP in a Comp-tac CTAC
I have trouble settling on one.

Kimber Ultra Carry II with 3 inch barrel.
Holster is a Galco side snap scabbard, OWB. Can't carry IWB because of hip surgery and the location of the scar.

Full size 1911 here. Used to interchange it with a Kimber Ultra Carry II.

(When Austin finally gets around to issuing my card...)
Rock Island full-size (5")
Springfield Armory Champion (4")
Colt Defender (3.5")
Winter through summer carry, with the Colt being the "sweaty season" gun, as it's less prone to rust/corrosion. The Rock's the easiest to handle, though. All are reliable for me, with the only failures occurring due to massive buildups of soot during my breakin/testing period. Keep 'em clean and oiled up (or often, dirty and oiled up), and they run without a hitch.
[Edit] We need an "all three" option on the poll. [/Edit]

For those that carry a fullsize....
How comfortable and concealable is it?
Would it be a practical carry piece for me? 6'0 - 185lbs 32-33 waist?
