I am so sorry that I let my Kahr PM9 go.

I have recently begun to really miss that little one and I am on the lookout for another PM9 to replace her...

I am just curious if you have ever done the same thing and what gun was it? What gun do you regret losing??.....

I'm with WildBill, I regret every gun I ever sold....well, maybe there was one that I'm glad to be rid of. But my AR-15, S&W 4006, Mossburg (yeah, Mossburg) model 500C in 20ga...that's all I have ever gotten rid of, but all were sold for a reason, if I had my choice, I would never sell a gun, I would just keep buying new ones!

Of coarse I hated to part with every gun I ever sold but the one that eats at me the most was a Colt Series 80 Gold Cup in 45 ACP. I sold it in 1981 or so for around 350 bucks. Makes me sick when I see what they get for those now.

The only one I really miss is a S&W Husqvarna in .308 I had as a kid. My younger brother had one just like it, with a different color stain on the stock. They had been cut down to fit us, and my dad handloaded the ammo for us so the recoil was reasonable for a couple of skinny kids.

Dad wound up having to sell them, along with a lot of others from his collection, when things got tough back in the '70's.

If serendipity ever smiles and I come across one somewhere..... hopefully I'll have cash in hand to do something about it.

I severely regret having to sell my Bushmaster AR, but it made a house payment when I was unemployed.

I also regret selling my XD9-subcompact, but the gun I traded it for was better (The M&P 9)
It wasn't bad enough to be gotten rid of, though.

I also regret selling my first handgun, a Beretta 92fs, when I had to move from AZ to CA. That was more of an emotional attachment than anything else.

I'm yet to sell or trade any gun I've ever owned. Citibank will have to pry them from my cold dead hands "rlol"

The one I really regret trading was a Colt Diamondback 2 1/2" barrel .22 Long Rifle . . . got the gun for 8th grade graduation, and sold it a few years later to get an M70 .30/06.

Well, I still have the '06 and it's accounted for all sorts of game from deer to leopard, but that little .22 was sweet . . .

Another one I sort of regret was a Ruger Super Single Six with interchangeable .22lr / .22 mag cylinders. But considering I traded it straight up for a 5" M27, I figure I didn't do too badly in the trade.

Yep, me too!!

Two that stand out: Colt AR-15 that I sold for $225 and a beautiful Browning Auto-5 12 ga that I sold for $300.

The Browning was bought by old family friends. The wife bought it as a gift for the husband. Several years later after both had passed away, I ran into the son and asked about buying it back. I was devastated to hear that it had been stolen along with the rest of their guns.
