Daily carry is a G19 for me. Great gun... never failed me.
Just curious, why does the floor plate on that 33-round mag have a pinkie extension? Is that when Mickey Mouse wants to fire it or something?

I've got one for shooting GSSF events. I'm not a huge fan of Glock but this one has done what it was supposed to when I needed it to.

Don't know. When I bought it it came that way.

Does that make it a 33 rd mag instead of a 31? Not sure.

There's a guy in Florida who's probably pretty fond of his Glock 19...
FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

My G19 is my nightstand gun. I"m OK with it living there, because if I do get broken into and ripped off, I'm not out a high $$$ pistol.

I have one. The 19/23 frame size is not my favorite. I have bled more than once trying to reload the thing! My palm is just too big for a quick reload.
My Wife has adopted it so it isn't going anywhere.

I did not start out with my G19, but I have been carrying/shooting more, as of late. I like it.

Re: Who here has a Glock 19?
I have the same issues as Jason with respect to my paws being too big for the Glock 19/23/32 frame. However; if I could only only one Glock, the Glock 19 would probably be it. It's not quite full-size but it isn't so small that my thumb ends up hanging past the muzzle as is the case with a Glock 26. I actually tried a Glock 19 for an ankle gun for a while...Worked OK but, I kept wanting to put one on each ankle so I wouldn't walk funny from the extra weight on one leg.
When you take the time out of your day to beat someone, it has a much longer lasting effect on their demeanor than simply shooting or tazing them.

Re: Who here has a Glock 19?
A buddy of mine just bought a 19 at the last gun show (Big Town) for $499, seemed to be the best price. My first pistol purchase was a 17 (in 1995/1996 or thereabouts). Of course, he (and I) purchased the 18 mags (you know, the 33 rounders), found them for $39.99 at the last Big Town show, that's the best price I've seen lately for them. I typically carry my Kimber, but I do like the fact that a buddy has a similar gun to mine that will accept my mags.
