There is a range just a couple miles from the racetrack called Quail Creek:

I've shot there many times and it's been fine. It get pretty crowded later in the day on weekends though.

There's a private range in Denton County
you've also got Bass Pro shop, which isn't all that far, depending on which way you go...

FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

You would be in the minority, it seems. That being said, Quail Creek is close to the track. I'd just rather not go shooting if that were the only option.wilder wrote:There is a range just a couple miles from the racetrack called Quail Creek:

I've read that thread and posted in it. I somewhat doubt I'm in the actual minority as it is people who have had problems that tend speak up about it. I don't have a horse in the race, but I"m pretty sure the guy that most of those complaints are about is not the RSO there anymore. The Annoyed Man wrote:You would be in the minority, it seems. No, unfortunately, Cabellas does not have a range. I shot at Bass Pro in Grapevine today. It's a nice set up and convenient to the track.
