BATF interview

I had my BATF interview and inspection yesterday for my FFL 01. The Agent had to drive up from San Antonio rather than one from Houston. He inspected the building where I plan to do business and seemed to be pleased with both it and what my future plans are as far as security goes. One thing he did seem interested in is the amount of ammo I presently have. I told him that I hadn't read where there was any limit I could have in my possession and wanted to be legal. I was beginning to get worried because he kept counting ammo cans and then he told me that they don't regulate ammo, he was just interested. He thought I might sell ammo but I told him no and have no plans to.
The interview, although rather lengthy and compressed, was also pleasant. He went over all of the forms that I would be responsible for plus the rules and regulations that must be followed. Two things he did make a point of-(1) The BATF is not real big on the phrase "I forgot" when it comes to why you didn't fill out or file the proper paper work. (2) If you have any doubts or questions, give them a call and make sure. Don't jeopardize being fined, losing you license, or going to jail over 1 gun sale.
When he left, he said he didn't see any reason it shouldn't go through. We'll see. Now all I have to do is find some distributors, purchase tools, get some inventory, etc... Yep, nothin' to it!
