What if Mumbai happened here?

For Americans watching the carnage, the obvious question was: Could it happen here? U.S. officials say the answer, unfortunately, is yes. And then comes a second question: If America is hit with another 9/11-style terrorist assault, how should the country react?
Do they want me to tell them how we'd react here in Texas or how it would go down in Chicago?

Or better yet how it would go down in California or New York.

Smaller coordinated attacks like the one in Mumbai would probably not happen here do to the Intelligence community responding to the buzz and DHS working with law Enforcement to break up the plot before it happened. India had been warned prior to the attacks, but apparently either didn't take the threat as credible or didn't apply enough pressure to stop the event once it was in motion. The terrorist's that target us will generally be looking for a much larger casualty rate and/or infrastructure target here in the U.S. They really want to go out with a big bang (pun intended :biggrinjester: )

This is absolutely true...they are out to get the biggest body count as possible. I personally believe when they do hit us it will be with a dirty bomb, or chemical... instead of mad men running around with AKs.

I would call Gecko45. That is all that would be necessary. The rest of us could go home and watch it on TV.

Head shots. They might be wearing body armor.

I'd wager the mere "mention" of his name would be enough. ;-)

Gotta love Gecko45...

I would be all over those terrorists like white on rice.
Tehy'd be picking up body parts for weeks.

that's why I got the extra ceramic plates for my tacticla vest. their measley AK47's rounds wouldn't hold up against all that body armor.
