I don't know about the north side, but let us know if you don't get recommendations for someone in your area. I can recommend a great 1911 smith in Webster/Clear Lake City area.

Welcome to the TexasCHLforum.

Chas.

I use Paul Hubbard in Conroe. He is working on my Gold Cup right now actually. He is very good and very honest. Also he has excellent prices and knows the 1911 platform inside and out. :thumbs2:

http://www.vandenbergcustom.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Ed Vandenberg does outstanding work off old galveston road, accross from Ellington Air Base in Houston or if Teddy Jacobson at ActionsbyT.com in the Sugarland area has not fully retired. Ed customized multiple Colt 1911 .45 for carry and multiple Colt AR15 rifles and carbines for various applications for me. Teddy Jacobson is the grand master gunsmith in this part of the country and has done everything imaginable to most everything that goes boom and has set the standard for the rest of his profession. Teddys work is simply superb.
